This weekend, Shippensburg University will have fall break from Friday, Oct. 13 to Tuesday, Oct. 17. AskU wanted to hear from the students how they plan to spend their fall break.

Fall break is a highly anticipated time of the academic year for college students. Fall break offers students a break from classes, exams, and assignments. During this break, students have the opportunity to unwind, relax, and engage in a variety of activities that help them recharge before the next leg of the semester.

AskU asked numerous students on campus what they planned to do during their break. While one student had no idea that fall break was coming up this weekend, most students shared their plans with us.

For many students, they are looking forward to traveling back home to see family, friends, and their four-legged friends. Aside from traveling, students shared that they would be participating in a few fall activities from corn mazes, pumpkin carving, and going to a fall festival.

As a college student, sleep is a very important asset to academic success. It is no surprise that over half the people we spoke to said they would be catching up on some “much needed sleep.”

AskU hopes all of you enjoy the break and your plans!
