Breaking: Plane crashes near PA turnpike in York

In York, Pennsylvania a plane has crashed near a Harrisburg turnpike and around the Capitol City Airport. Officials for the York County Office of Emergency Management have revealed that there are injuries, however their conditions have not been disclosed at this time.


Update 3:22 p.m.

PennDOT has revealed that a utility truck was involved in the crash, no word yet if the driver was among the reported injuries.


Update 4:42 p.m.

The Federal Aviation Administration have revealed that two individuals were flying the single engine aircraft when it crashed into the vehicle near Pennsylvania Turnpike in Fairview Township. Harrisburg's West Interchange remains closed at this time.
