April 19th was Julia Wise appreciation day at Robb Sports Complex for the lax team. They remember one of their former captains who tragically passed away from breast cancer.

The Raiders would have a tough challenge ahead of them as they faced #14 ranked Kutztown golden bears. Ship started strong in the first quarter, jumping out to a 4-2 lead by the end of the period. The second quarter was closer, but the Raiders would still head into halftime with a 7-4 lead.

Kutztown would eventually tie the game at ten a piece with four minutes to play and it would become a defensive battle. The golden bears won the opening draw of overtime, but a quick save from Kayla Vosburg would give the raider offense a chance. Just a few minutes later, her sister Sara would find the back of the net on a pass from Ali Pioli to give the raiders the win.

This was the teams first ranked win since February of 2020.

Lacrosse returned home on the 26th, losing to Millersville in a thrilling senior day match up. The Raiders end their 2025 season with a 3-9 PSAC record and an 8-9 overall record. SU lacrosse will return next spring.
