11/7/2019 By Brandon Kyc- Governor tom wolf is making a big change to how Pennsylvanians vote. The new bill that was passed on Tuesday will provide voters with new voting options such as voting by mail and extended registration deadlines. Governor wolf is pleased with the bill and said, “Pennsylvania has gone from collectively being the state least friendly to voters to a national leader in voting and election security reform.” The new law authorizes a $90 million bond so counties across the state can purchase new voting machines. This will enhance voter security with a paper trail and prevent fraud. This will not have change for the November 5thelections, but the new system will be available by the 2020 election.
