SHIPPENSBURG – Shippensburg University athletes Brookes Bear, and Connor Oldt set new personal records this past Friday.
Last weekend at Bucknell University, men’s track and field found success both on and off the track. Sophomore Brookes Bear set a throwing personal record for his first ever NCAA provisional qualifier. Bear threw the weight just over 58 feet.
Senior Connor Oldt set his PR in the sixty-meter hurdles which could place him in the top eight seed for next weekend.
The men’s track and field team will compete this coming weekend for the P-S-A-C indoor track and field championship at Edinboro University.
