Shippensburg Alumnus Becomes NFL Coach
By: Brandon Kyc
Ship alumnus Rob Davis will be joining the Dallas Cowboys as an assistant head coach this offseason. Davis will be operating under head coach Mike McCarthy and will be focusing on player development as a life coach in the locker room. He went on to say how his job description is rather fluid right now but that the locker room is the most important room in the building; and that coach McCarthy wants the locker room working at a very high level. Davis has a long history with football as he played for ship as a defensive tackle from 1988 to 1992 and had a long career in the NFL as a long snapper from 1996 to 2007.
