SU Celebrates Women's History Month

By: Alycia LaLuz 3/26/21

To end Women’s History Month on a high note, Shippensburg University and its organizations have some exciting events planned.

Around the corner, on Saturday, March 27, Ship’s Multicultural Student Affairs’ office also known as “MSA” presents the “Together We Slay” brunch offering an event filled with women empowerment, bottomless mocktails, giveaways and “positive vibes only.” Registration for this event is still open and mandatory.

Later on that night, the Ceddia Union Building is hosting a movie night at 6 p.m. Participants can enjoy provided popcorn and snacks as they watch 2020’s “Promising Young Woman.”

On Sunday, the following day, MSA is hosting a virtual Gospel Celebration Service starting at 2 p.m. with Ship Alum, Reverend Ivy Berry. This service is open to all and the Zoom Link can be found in an email from MSA.

These events as well as many more will be ongoing throughout the final week of March all over campus. Students can find more information in their email as well as on signage around campus.
